Adding and Editing Videos in Editor

 

 

Videos can make content stand out and add quick, easy visuals–from background videos to product highlights, videos can be highly versatile. Editor allows you to add and replace videos within the experience and make edits to each video, such as having it autoplay, loop forever, hide controls, and more! Customizing these settings can help the video flow with the experience and provide the best user experience for your audience.

Adding videos

Using the Toolbar:

1. In the toolbar, select the Media Menu 
2. Select Add Video to select a video file from your desktop 

Drag and drop:

1. From your desktop, select the video file you want to add
2. Drag the file from your desktop and drop it into the Experience 

We recommend uploading MP4 files but other formats are also accepted. Check out Optimizing Your Videos for Ceros to learn more.

Editing videos

1. Click on the desired video to select it and open the Design Panel
2. Select the Settings gear to open the menu of editing options
3. Make desired edits to the video
   1. Autoplay video
   2. Loop Forever
   3. Hide Controls
   4. Add Custom Thumbnail
   5. Add Closed Captions

Advanced edits:

1. Toggle on the Advanced button in the Design Panel
2. Make desired edits to the video
   1. Opacity
   2. Add Shadow

This workflow in Editor applies to videos that are directly uploaded into the Ceros tools. Any external video platform (like YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, etc.) should follow the Edit Embedded Objects method.
