Ceros content is designed to engage and immerse users in interactive experiences that are much more captivating than the surface-level, flat images provided by printable media such as PDFs. Each Ceros Experience harnesses the power of a web browser to tell the rich, engaging story of your brand.
Imagine the difference between standing on the Observation Deck of the Empire State Building vs. looking at a picture of it. You would miss the feeling of wind in your hair, the sounds of traffic on the street below, the smell of hot dogs and pretzels from the street vendors, and the exhilaration of being so high in the air. When printing, you would lose the interactions and animations that make the content a digital experience. It just wouldn’t be a Ceros Experience anymore.

However, if printing the content is necessary, it is possible to link out to a printable PDF from a Ceros experience. You can use the experience as an interactive teaser for the full PDF, and using the “On Click- Go to URL” interaction, you can create a CTA that links out to a PDF being hosted elsewhere, that the user can then print. Make sure to check off “Opens in New Window” so that you don’t drive your users away from your Experience.
Note: The PDF you are linking to will have to be created separately and hosted elsewhere on the web-this process will not turn the Ceros Experience into a PDF.
In this example, you’ll see that while it simply would not be possible to print this infographic with all of its animations and interactions, the CTA at the top offers the option to download the full eBook, which would link out to a static, printable report of the content (in this case however it is a Ceros template, so it just links back to our homepage).
