Ceros Templates provide an excellent starting point for your content creation, eliminating the need to start from a blank canvas with each new experience! In this article, we'll provide an overview of Ceros Templates and the types of templates you can use (Ceros Inspire, Account Level, Organization Level).
Templates Overview
To view all of your account's and organization's template experiences, along with a variety of examples from Ceros Inspire, navigate to the Templates tab in the Ceros admin.

Within this tab, you can view, manage, toggle integrations (ChartBlocks, Marketo, Hubspot, etc.) and delete your stored template experiences. Click on the option toggle dots (...) while hovering over a template's tile to access these options for the selected template.

You also have the ability to search for and sort through all of your user-created templates. You can find these tools on the right of the Templates tab. Within the Types dropdown menu (pictured below with the All types button), you can manage and create different template types to better organize your created Account and Organization level templates.

Ceros Inspire Templates
There are a wide variety of templates available to you via Ceros Inspire. Intended to inspire your Ceros content creation, these pre-built experiences range from a number of different types such as infographics, banners, quizzes, and more, giving you a head start on crafting your Ceros experiences. Each of these templates is fully customizable and can be accessed with any Ceros account.

You can preview a template by hovering over its tile and clicking the Preview button when searching through the Ceros Inspire template browser. As you search through pages of Ceros curated examples, feel free to use the Search Templates bar or type sorting options on the left and right side of the template browser if you're looking for a specific type of experience.

Ceros Inspire templates can be accessed/utilized in a few ways within the Ceros Studio:
Via the Templates tab
In the Templates tab, click the blue Browse Ceros Inspire button to enter the Ceros Inspire template browser. Once you've decided on a template to start from, hover over its tile and click the Use Template button to select the Project folder you want to import the template into. Finally, give the experience a name and click the Create button to finish the import process.

Creating a new experience
Ceros Inspire templates can also be used when creating a new experience from within one of your account's project folders. When viewing a project folder in your Ceros admin, click the blue New Experience button, then the Template button, and then the Browse Ceros Inspire button to enter the Ceros Inspire template browser. As before with accessing these templates from the Templates tab, once you've found the template you want to start from, click the Use Template button while hovering over its tile. This time, however, you'll only be prompted to name the experience and click the Create button to finish importing instead of specifying a project folder to import the template into - since you're already within one.
Note: You can also view Ceros Inspire templates outside of the studio via the Ceros Inspire portal, and even import them into your Ceros account!
Account Level Templates
Account Level templates are user-created experiences that can be used and repurposed for a wide range of use cases (content hubs, brand toolkits, recurring experiences). For example, let's say you have a monthly infographic experience that you've built out. Creating a template of this experience allows you to reuse it multiple times across your Ceros account projects, providing ease of access while saving you on creation time.
How to Create a New Template from an Existing Experience
Once you've finished creating an experience that you want to generate a template from, navigate to the project folder that it's housed within. Hover over the experience's tile and click the option toggle dots (...). In this dropdown menu, hover over Manage, and then click the Create template button. You will then be prompted to confirm the creation of this template by clicking the Create button.

Once completing this process, you'll enter the Manage template panel, where you'll be able to name the template, give it a subtitle, upload a custom thumbnail, specify the template type (if those have been created within the Templates tab in your Ceros admin), and enable/disable the template. Once you've finished adjusting these options, click the blue Save button to finish managing your template.

Now that your template experience has been created, you can view and manage it at any time within the Templates tab in your Ceros admin.
A few things to note:
- In order to edit an existing user-created Account Level template, it must first be disabled in the Templates tab. After the template is disabled within the Manage template panel, you can click the Open in Studio button from within the template tile's options and make any needed edits. Please note that the template will not be usable in your Ceros account until it's re-enabled. Once you've finalized your edits, you can re-enable the template to resume using it.

- Templates can only be created and edited by users with Owner and Creator level Ceros account access.
- Deleting the original experience that a template was created from will not delete the template. Likewise, deleting a template will not delete the experience it was created from.
How to Create a New Experience from an Existing Template
Similar to how Ceros Inspire templates are accessed, you can create a new experience from a user-created template in a few ways:
- Navigate to the Templates tab in the Ceros admin, hover over the template tile you want to use, and click the Use Template button. Next, follow the prompts to select the project folder you want to create the experience within, name the new experience, and then click the Create button.
- Navigate to a project folder you have created in your Ceros admin and click the blue New Experience button. Next, select Template, find the template you wish to use, and while hovering over its tile, click the Use Template button. Finally, name the new experience and then click the Create button.
Organization Level Templates
Note: Organization Level templates are a premium feature. Please contact your Ceros Customer Success Manager if you're interested in enabling this feature across your business/team's Ceros accounts.
If your business/team has multiple Ceros accounts, setting up an Organization and connecting all of those accounts will allow templates to be shared between all of these connected accounts when created by the specified Template Account Manager account, without requiring a user to have access to each account within the organization. Think of the Template Account Manager as the "main"/central account within the organization.
Organization Level templates can be created and utilized in the same way that Account Level templates are, but will be signified in their tile with a "globe" symbol (pictured below).
