Archiving in MarkUp

The Archive feature in MarkUp is a dedicated section in your Workspace that allows you to quickly store completed folders or MarkUps. Archiving completed work declutters your MarkUp Dashboard and increases Workspace organization. The Archive section includes all the same organizational features of the Dashboard, including creating folders and sub-folders, filtering, searching, and sorting.

How to Archive a Folder or MarkUp

From the Dashboard of your Workspace:

  1. Select the menu option of a highlighted folder or MarkUp tile

  2. Select ā€œArchiveā€ from the dropdown menu

You can view all archived work by selecting ā€œArchiveā€ from the MarkUp sidebar UI. In the Archive section, all folders and MarkUps will include a grey ā€œArchivedā€ tag attached to their tile. It’s important to note that you can not share archived work with teammates outside your Workspace; you must restore the work to re-enable sharing.

How to Restore an Archived Folder or MarkUp

From the Archive section of your Workspace:

  1. Select the menu option of a highlighted folder or MarkUp tile

  2. Select ā€œRestoreā€ from the dropdown menu

The restored work is then returned to the Dashboard and re-sorted by its original creation date.
