Adding Graphs to Ceros with Graphy

Ceros has partnered with Graphy to integrate interactive data visualizations that anyone can create directly into Studio experiences. This enables you and your team to quickly craft data-driven stories!

How to Create with Graphy

  1. Once you’ve logged in to your Graphy account, select the New option in the upper left corner of the Graphy dashboard to start your creation.

  2. Next, select the chart creation method:

    1. Import an existing Google sheet, Excel sheet, or CSV file

      1. Select a sheet in the imported file (e.g., “Sheet1”) from the dropdown menu

      2. Select Create chart

        1. Note: Please ensure that your hosted sheets (via Google, etc.) are accessible to anyone with the sheet link or shared with “[email protected]”; otherwise, Graphy will not be able to import them.

    2. Paste your data into Graphy

    3. Start from a Graphy chart example

  3. (Optional) Create folders and/or boards to organize your Graphy charts. This can also be done after you’ve finished creating your charts.

Once your chart has been created, you can customize its appearance to make it feel more “on brand” and visually appealing to your audience:

Data

In the Data tab, you can:

  • Manually adjust your chart’s data

  • Autofix data with Graphy’s AI feature

  • Replace data from a different or updated source

  • Adjust chart grouping settings

Visualize

In the Visualize tab, you can:

  • Change the chart’s type (Column, Bar, Pie, etc.)

  • Adjust the chart’s appearance

  • Apply, remove, and adjust a headline number

  • Adjust various styling options (e.g., sorting high to low, grid lines, etc.)

Design

In the Design tab, you can:

  • Change the chart’s color theme (light or dark)

  • Apply a chart color palette

    • Note: We recommend setting up brand color palettes via the Brand kit option. This way, future chart creations can quickly utilize your brand colors!

  • Apply a chart border and/or background

    • Note: We advise setting your chart background to Transparent if you desire to blend your Graphy chart into your experience’s background.

  • Adjust font and text size options

  • Hide/show the data source and Graphy logo

How to Embed Graphy in Studio

After creating your chart, you can generate a share link or embed code for your chart in Graphy to embed it in an experience.

Export a Graphy Chart as a Link or Embed Code

  • In the Export tab under Link, select Copy link to copy the chart’s standalone link to your clipboard.

    • Note: You can share/use this link to view the chart as a standalone piece of microcontent or to embed your chart in an experience.

  • Alternatively, you can select Copy embed code under Embed code to copy an iframe embed code of your Graphy chart to your clipboard. This can be used to embed your Graphy chart in an experience or other external parent page.

    • Note: We recommend that you enable 'Fit to container' for your embed code to make sure your chart scales to fit the embed frame wherever it is embedded.

Embedding Your Graphy Chart in Studio

  1. After copying your Graphy chart’s link or embed code to your clipboard, select the Embed Object tool from Studio’s toolbar in the experience you wish to embed the chart within.

  2. Paste the Graphy link or embed code into the Enter embed code field in the Embed Object tool window.

  3. Select the blue arrow to generate the chart on your canvas.

    1. Note: You can resize the embedded chart on your canvas as needed using its bounding box handles.

Updating your chart in Graphy (data, visuals, etc.) will automatically reflect changes through the standalone Graphy link or on any experience where it was embedded.

If your chart undergoes significant changes, such as switching from a bar chart to a pie chart, we recommend reviewing the content in which it was embedded to ensure it still fits with your design. Then, if necessary, adjust the size and position of the embedded chart on your canvas.
