The Outline
Next month will mark the one year anniversary of community for Ceros Educate! Over the past year, you all have earned hundreds of certifications, completed ten creative challenges, accumulated over a million page views on Educate, but most importantly, made some really, really cool and creative friends!
Some of you have even been around during our tiny little community proof of concept, the Certified Designers Club!
Educate's community has been both a success and a blast, but it wouldn't be possible without you, our amazing community members! So, this month's creative challenge is in celebration of YOU and your creativity!
The Challenge
Your Creative Challenge this month will be to create a portfolio showcasing at least five of your favorite creations in Ceros. They could be from a course, a prior Creative Challenge, or even an experience for your work (pleeease triple-check on NDAs before including real-life work). Whatever you are most proud of!
You can design and layout your portfolio however you want; in fact, we encourage expression through its design, but it must include the following:
A title that reflects you, your work, and your outlook on creative design
As mentioned above, links to your five favorite Ceros experiences you created/collaborated on
Thumbnails or buttons that link out to each of your chosen portfolio pieces (you can link out to your experiences, you don't have to add them directly in your portfolio)
Titles and short descriptions for each portfolio piece
Anything outside of these requirements is entirely up to you!
The Submission
For the month of October, we'll be embedding the below portfolio hub experience👇🏻 on the Educate Home page! We'll link from the embedded hub to your September Creative Challenge submissions so everyone can celebrate your amazing creative work and our first year of community together!
Additionally, since your portfolios will be embedded on Educate, completing this Creative Challenge by October 3rd will earn you the Embed Badge. On October 3rd, we'll ooo, ahhh, and review everyone's submissions during our next Creative Challenge Webinar!
This month's challenge is different, but I think it's going to be pretty cool! I'm excited to see what everyone cooks up. Again, this is a celebration of you, creativity, and our community, so have fun and take risks!
