🔥 Hot Tips 🔥 : Infinitely repeating marquee/news ticker

Ever wanted to make an infinitely repeating marquee or news ticker? Most people would make a really long group that extends past the canvas and shift in or out for a longer, slower duration. It would appear to work, but it might eventually end and break the illusion entirely 😱 .

Luckily, there's a neat trick you can do in the Ceros Studio that will truly repeat forever 🤩, like in this example:

Follow these steps to recreate this effect in your own designs!

1. Group the elements of the marquee that you want to repeat

   1. Make sure the graphic extends slightly past the canvas edge. If it doesn't extend past the canvas edge, you may need to repeat the entire sequence once more within the group

2. With the parent group selected, apply 2 Animation Effects:

   1. 1st animation effect: Shift Out, Left, No Ease

   2. 2nd animation effect: Shift In, Left, No Ease

      
      Note: Do not set a Delay. We set our Duration to 10 seconds in this case, but you can play around with the time as much as you want 😄 !

3. Enable "Repeat Entire Sequence".

4. Copy & Paste the entire group.

   1. Make sure the group is pasted in the same exact spot as the original group

5. With the new group selected, update the 2 Animation Effects:

   1. 1st animation effect: Shift In

   2. 2nd animation effect: Shift Out
      
      Note: We are only updating the effect. The other properties should be identical to the first group.

Voila! You've just created an awesome infinitely repeating marquee 🪩 🕺 !
