Link Interactions in Editor

Editor allows users to edit and create navigation/link interactions on assets in an experience to direct viewers to a different page in a multi-page experience or a URL. This guide will detail how to edit and create these interactions in Editor.

How to edit a Go to Page interaction

  1. While in Edit mode, click on the asset on your canvas with a Go to page interaction applied to it, doing so will open the Design and Interact tabs menu.

  2. In this menu, click on Interact, then find the existing Go to page interaction attached to the asset.

  3. Hover over the interaction, then click the pencil icon to edit the interaction. Note: You can also remove the interaction here entirely by clicking the X icon.

  4. Click the Select page dropdown menu and choose which page you wish to direct your viewers to with the asset.

  5. Finally, click Update to finish editing the interaction.

How to add a Go to Page interaction

  1. While in Edit mode, click on the asset on your canvas that you wish to add a Go to page interaction to, doing so will open the Design and Interact tabs menu.

  2. In this menu, click on Interact, then click the + icon to begin adding your interaction.

  3. Two dropdown menus will appear, one to select the interaction trigger type, and the other to select the interaction itself. Select the On Click trigger and the Go to Page interaction. Note: you must use an On Click trigger for this type of interaction.

  4. After specifying the trigger type and interaction, select which page you wish to direct your viewers to in the Select page dropdown menu.

  5. Finally, click Save Interaction to finish applying the interaction to your asset.

How to edit a Go to URL interaction

  1. While in Edit mode, click on the asset on your canvas with a Go to URL interaction applied to it, doing so will open the Design and Interact tabs menu.

  2. In this menu, click on Interact, then find the existing Go to URL interaction attached to the asset.

  3. Hover over the interaction, then click the pencil icon to edit the interaction. Note: You can also remove the interaction here entirely by clicking the X icon.

  4. In the Enter URL field, swap the current URL destination with another. You can also select to open the URL in a new browser window with the checkbox just beneath this field.

  5. Finally, click Update to finish editing the interaction.

How to add a Go to URL interaction

  1. While in Edit mode, click on the asset on your canvas that you wish to add a Go to URL interaction to, doing so will open the Design and Interact tabs menu.

  2. In this menu, click on Interact, then click the + icon to begin adding your interaction.
