Reordering Layers with Editor

In Editor, you can change the order of the assets on the canvas. All assets (text, images, videos, shapes, etc.) are arranged like a stack of "layers" on the canvas that you can reorder according to what you want to appear towards the front or back. Moving an object forward or backward will change its positioning in the layers.

Reordering Layers in Editor

  1. Right-click on the selected asset

  2. Select a “Move…” option from the pop-up menu

    1. Move Forward

      1. Shifts an object higher by 1 level

    2. Move Backward

      1. Shifts an object lower by 1 level

    3. Move to Front

      1. Shifts an object above everything

    4. Move to Back

      1. Shifts an object behind everything

Tip: You can also use keyboard shortcuts to swiftly reorder assets.

Reordering Layers in Editor helps to make it easier and quicker to manage multiple overlapping assets on the canvas, especially when you are unable to select an asset that is positioned behind another asset.
