SSO/IdP Setup
Setting up SSO is incredibly simple. First, we'll ensure a smooth setup by configuring the provider in a staging environment and then move on to production.
This two-part process involves creating a connection in our staging environment, before sending metadata and a certificate so you can set up your side of the connection.
Once we've provided you with the necessary metadata, you can easily create a new connection for MarkUp.io with just a few additional requirements. These include:
Sending the user's email address in the SAML NameID field. http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/nameidentifier
Setting the Default Relay State to
https://app-stage.markupdev.io/auth?fromLogin=true(staging), orhttps://app.markup.io/auth?fromLogin=true(production) if you're using an IdP initiated flow.
To complete the connection, we'll need the following information from you:
The IdP Issuer URI
IdP Single Sign-On URL
IdP Signature Certificate
