Single sign-on (SSO) enables you to log into multiple applications and platforms using only one set of login credentials.
For individuals, SSO can streamline daily tasks by eliminating the need to log into multiple tools. For organizations, SSO offers several advantages:
Centralized User Management: SSO provides a single location to manage users across all applications, making the onboarding and offboarding process more efficient.
Enforced Login Restrictions: With SSO, your organization can manage and enforce its login restrictions, such as multi-factor identification and password strength requirements.
If your organization is interested, you can set up SSO for Ceros. This way, your team will be able to log into Ceros without a password when you are logged into your identity provider (e.g. Google Apps).
How do I set up SSO for Ceros?
If you're interested in setting up SSO for Ceros, the process is as follows:
Contact your Account Manager at Ceros to initiate the process.
Our authentication Service Provider (Okta) will need to connect with your Identity Provider. We support SAML and LDAP standards, as well as numerous IdPs including Google Apps, Ping, Okta, and Azure AD.
There are two main components to the SSO connection - one that we configure in our Service Provider and one that you configure in your IdP. Our support team will guide you through your part of the process.
Once both ends are complete, we can finalize the connection. We'll then invite your users to your Ceros account, and they'll be able to log into the platform via SSO, without needing a password.
If you’d like to set up SSO for your Ceros account, please reach out to your Account Manager at Ceros.
