Studio allows you to further increase the engagement and interactivity of your Ceros experiences by embedding third-party media and content. Whether it's a YouTube video, Google form or map, Spotify playlist, or practically anything else, you can quickly and easily add it to any experience in Studio without writing a single line of code.
How to embed content in an experience:
Generate a shareable URL or embed code from the desired third-party app or web page
Select Embed Object from the Toolbar in Studio to open the embed window
Paste the third-party URL or embed code in Studio's embed window
If you paste a URL rather than an embed code, Studio will auto-generate an embed code for you
To use a URL rather than an embed code, the third-party service must have oEmbed enabled for their URLs
Most prominent third-party platforms (as examples: YouTube, Google, Vimeo) have oEmbed enabled; however, if you receive a message stating, “Unable to read URL. Try using embed code” when pasting a third-party URL in Studio’s embed window, that third-party platform more than likely doesn’t have oEmbed enabled for their URLs
After pasting the URL or embed code, you may see a checkbox labeled "Fit to frame." Uncheck this box to manually resize the dimensions of the embed frame (useful for content like social media posts) after generating it
Select the Arrow button to generate the embed frame on the canvas
How to resize or adjust embedded content:
Once you've embedded third-party content on the canvas, you can easily scale and adjust the dimensions of the embed frame to fit your desired layout.
To scale the embed frame:
Select the embed frame
Click, hold, and drag any of the binding box's squares to quickly scale up or down the size of the embed frame without changing its aspect ratio
To manually adjust the dimensions of the embed frame:
Select the embed frame
Uncheck the "Fit to frame" checkbox under Design Tab > Embedded Object
Click, hold, and drag any of the binding box's squares to reshape the embed frame
Hold Shift as you reshape the embed frame to retain its current aspect ratio
Note: Some embed frames will display a thumbnail while designing in Studio; to view the embedded content, preview or publish the experience.
