What is the Getty Asset Manager?
The Getty Asset Manager integration allows you to access your entire approved Getty library directly within Studio and Editor. This means you can easily find, manage, and utilize your approved Getty assets across various content use cases, all without needing to switch between different platforms.Â
And it’s free to use!Â
Key Features
Direct Access: You can access your Getty Digital Asset Management (DAM) images directly in Studio and Editor. This eliminates the need to toggle between different applications, making your workflow more efficient.
Faster Workflow: By integrating your approved Getty assets directly into Ceros, you can significantly speed up the content creation process. Easily search for and insert the assets you need, reducing the time spent on manual tasks.
Getting Started
Getty API credentials
To set up the Getty Asset Manager integration, you will need access to your Getty API credentials (an API key and secret). If you do not yet have API credentials, please contact your Getty rep and request an API key for use in the Ceros/Getty Images integration.
If you already have your Getty API credentials, you will need to configure your API key to work with the integration. Simply reach out to Getty and inform them that https://admin.ceros.com/oauth needs to be added to your key’s whitelist.
Note: This must be done before setting up the integration.
Setting up your integration
Navigate to the Settings tab in your Admin and click on “Integrations”Â
Locate the Getty Images feature and toggle it on
You’ll need to authenticate with your API key and secret
This will redirect you to the Getty login page where you will need to authorize access with your company’s Getty login credentials (not API key and secret)
The window will close and you’ll be back in the Admin!
Using the integration in Studio and Editor
Open an experience and locate the Media Library Icon
Select Add Stock MediaÂ
A pop-up box will appear with your new “Linked Getty” content next to the “Stock Media” tab if your contract includes iStock imageryÂ
Search for and drag & drop content on the canvasÂ
Differences Between Getty Asset Manager and Getty Media Library
Getty Asset Manager: This integration provides access to your existing approved Getty library. You can leverage these assets across various content use cases, enhancing flexibility in your projects.
Getty Media Library: In contrast, the Media Library offers access to Getty’s iStock images and videos from Getty. However, these assets are restricted for use solely within your specific experience in Ceros.
