On September 8th, 2025, access to the ChartBlocks platform will be discontinued as the tool is sunsetted. Read on to understand the impact of this change on your existing charts, and to learn about available features and support post-sunset.
How will my ChartBlocks charts be impacted?
Non-Ceros ChartBlocks user charts will be supported for 12 months after the sunset, and Ceros ChartBlocks user charts will be supported indefinitely
Charts will continue to appear exactly how they did before the sunset
Hover interactions that display ‘Title/X/Y’ content will be preserved
Charts will become read-only static HTML pages
These pages will replicate the existing functionality of the embed service
Existing ChartBlocks URLs (embedded or standalone) will continue to work – no updating is required
What image formats will I be able to download charts as?
Post-sunset, chart downloads from embeds will be limited to PNG and SVG formats. Additionally, the social ‘Share’ feature will be removed from the embed UI.
