The Scenario
The year is 1999, and satellite television is all the rage. You recently accepted a job as a field marketer at CerosTV, the LEADER in satellite television, offering over 200 unique channels of only the best movies and exclusive series.
You, along with the rest of the field marketing and events team, are getting the CerosTV booth set up at the Consumer Electronics Roadshow (CER for short), the most anticipated event of the year! This year, CerosTV is set to unveil its four newest channels and their primetime exclusive series! However, upon setting up the booth, you realize you forgot to pack the booth's centerpiece, the "Primetime Sizzle Reel!"
As the rest of your team panics because the event starts tomorrow, you are entirely calm because you know your interactive content creation chops are here to save the day.
The Challenge
Your Creative Challenge this month is to create animated title screens for CerosTV's four new exclusive series. What the four series are and how you design the title screens are entirely up to you, just make sure to incorporate animations! To get started:
Import this CerosTV template into your Ceros account
Remove the "Channels" placeholder groups
Design your four new channels and title screens in the designated areas of the canvas
Bring your channels to life with animations
Publish your experience and submit it in a comment below
This month's challenge is focused on utilizing animations and visual presentation, so there is no need to add new "On Click" and "On Hover" interactions. The included channel changing interactions in the "CTV Overlay" layer are all you need!
As you dive in, I recommend taking some time to grasp how the experience is designed to work. It uses a pinned overlay layer, anchor points, and "Scroll to Position" interactions to create the channel changing effect. The better you understand how the experience works, the better you'll be able to plan your animations.
