The Text Tool Experience Converter enables users to upgrade their existing experiences and templates from the legacy Text Tool to the new Text Tool, released in 2023.
An experience or template will need to be upgraded with this tool to use new text tool features like bullets/lists, Asian font support, and super/subscript. (Click here to read about the new Text Tool)
Also, if you want to duplicate experiences or copy text from an existing experience into a new one using the new Text Tool, you'll need to upgrade the original experience first.
Using the Text Tool Experience Converter
Locate and open the folder in the Admin that houses the experience you wish to upgrade.
Click the button in the bottom-left corner of the legacy text experience tile that you want to upgrade. Please note that if your account has the new Text Tool enabled, experience tiles that already utilize the new Text Tool will not display this button and will not require an upgrade. Confirm the action by clicking Upgrade. Doing so will upgrade the experience to the new Text Tool and also create a backup version of the experience using the legacy Text Tool.
Please note: If your account has the new Text Tool enabled, all newly created experiences will automatically use the new Text Tool.
