Adding a favicon to your experience through vanity domains can make your Ceros content feel more authentically “on brand”! This article outlines how to achieve this.
Applying a Favicon to a Vanity Domain
You’ll need to connect your vanity domain to your Ceros account before you can apply a favicon to it. For more information on vanity domains and their Ceros account setup process, refer to our article “Using Your Own Vanity Domain”.
After your vanity domain is connected to your Ceros account, here’s how to apply a favicon to it:
In the Admin, navigate to the Settings tab
You must have “Owner”-level account role permissions to view this tab
Select the “Vanity Domains” tab
Find the vanity domain you want to apply a favicon to, then select the (+) icon under “Favicon”
In the “Favicon” section of the window that appears, select “Upload” or the (+) icon on the right to begin the upload process
Select the favicon image file on your computer
The following favicon image file types are supported:
ICO
PNG
GIF
JPEG
SVG
Once the favicon has been uploaded, select “Save”
Once applied to a vanity domain, a favicon will appear on any published experience that utilizes the vanity domain URL. Please be aware, that it may take some time for the favicon to appear in Google’s search results.
Note: You can change a vanity domain’s favicon later by selecting the pencil/”Edit” icon in the “Vanity Domains” subtab of the Admin’s Settings tab, located directly next to where a favicon is initially applied.
