Roles and Permissions

Roles and Permissions make it easy for your entire team to collaborate on experiences in your Ceros account. This allows you to tailor who in your organization has access to your Ceros content, and what those users can do within the Ceros ecosystem.

The Roles you can assign to people in your organization are:

  • Owner

  • Creator

  • Editor

  • Reviewer

  • Viewer

The Roles and Their Access

Owner

The Owner role has the highest level of permission, with access to everything within your Ceros account. This is the only role that can invite new users to the account and manage user access/permissions. You may revoke the Owner role as long as there is another designated Owner in the account.

In Ceros, Owners have access to:

  • Manage Account Settings

  • Manage members and folder access

  • Create folders/experiences in the Studio

  • Edit the content of experiences in Editor

  • Access Analytics of published experiences

  • Preview experiences

  • Publish/Unpublish experiences

Creator

The Creator role should be given to someone who will be logging into Ceros to create content, such as designers or marketers.

In Ceros, Creators have access to:

  • Create folders/experiences in the Studio

  • Edit the content of experiences in Editor

  • Access Analytics of published experiences

  • Preview experiences

  • Publish/Unpublish experiences

Editor

The Editor role is typically for team members who still need to make version updates within Editor and then share the experiences with end-users; for example, small tweaks to sales decks or monthly newsletters.

In Ceros, Editors have access to:

  • Edit the content of experiences in Editor

  • Access Analytics of published experiences

  • Preview experiences

  • Publish/Unpublish experiences

Reviewer

The Reviewer role is best suited for users who you would like to have access to preview experiences in development, as well as review the analytics of a published experience. Team members for this role will likely be project stakeholders and members of your analytics team.

In Ceros, Reviewers have access to:

  • Access Analytics of published experiences

  • Preview experiences

Viewer

The Viewer role is ideal for stakeholders who solely need to view experiences within your account. Instead of sharing individual preview links for several experiences, you can assign a ‘Viewer’ role and select which folders they will have access to when logged into the Admin.

In Ceros, Viewers have access to:

  • Preview experiences
