Using Ceros Assets in Editor

The Ceros Assets within Editor's Asset Library allow you to rapidly drag and drop customizable interactive assets directly onto the Canvas. Whether using them as-is for a project on a tight deadline or as a starting point for a fully branded experience, Ceros Assets helps you save time and speed up your design process.

How to Add Ceros Assets to an Experience:

  1. Open the Asset Library Panel from the Toolbar

  2. Click on the "Ceros Assets" folder

  3. Select an asset category from the 20 available categories

  4. Drag and drop an asset directly onto the Canvas

How to Edit Ceros Assets:

As with all interactive assets in Editor, Ceros Assets are comprised of multiple elements layered and grouped together. Aside from the "Formatted Text" category, all Ceros Assets include Hover States and basic "On Click" interactions (which lead to the Ceros homepage by default). More complex assets, such as those found in the various "Carousels" and "Data Visuals" categories, may include additional types of interactions and/or animations.

Previewing a Ceros Asset once it has been added to the Canvas is recommended to understand its interactive functionality. Once you have a grasp on how the selected asset functions, you can then proceed to edit any aspect of it, including:

  • Size

  • Position

  • Orientation

  • Colors

  • Interactions

  • Animations

  • Text

  • Images

To edit complex Ceros Assets, check out our Editing Hidden Content article.

How to Save Updated Ceros Assets:

Ceros Assets you edit can then be saved to any custom account Asset Category in the Asset Library. For example, if you update a Tab Menu Ceros Asset with your company's branding, you can then save it as a new asset in a Category called "Branded Assets." To do so:

  1. Select the modified Ceros Asset

  2. Right click

  3. From  the dropdown menu, select "Save to Asset Libary"

  4. From the popout window, select the desired account Asset Category

Alternatively, you can use the Contextual Toolbar to save modified Ceros Assets.

All modified Ceros Assets saved in an account Asset Category can be reused in future projects by you or anyone with access to your account Asset Library.

Note: Modified Ceros Assets can not be re-saved to the "Ceros Assets" Category.

Ceros Assets can save time, bridge design skill gaps, and enable entire teams to create premium, interactive content.
